The exoticism of the spice trade from many years ago is evoked by a sea of spices. Saffron, caraway, coriander, and cinnamon are all generously scented, reminding us of the joy of life's earthy pleasures. Brown sugar and vanilla are used as saccharine enchantments to make the plentiful spices more palatable.

The basis for our most recent original creation is precisely this interaction between sweet and spicy flavors. The first thing to think about was locating the components while they were at their most fragrant. Fortunately, the perfume industry has long used some of these most revered spices. This assortment of notes gives an otherwise dulcet and delicious piece the ideal amount of edge. The dark tobacco and benzoin flavors are complemented with vanilla's sweet touches. The Tolu balsam and benzoin combine to create an amber accord that is as old as the spices.
