Kalimantan, situated in Indonesia, borders the island of Borneo, and both Borneo and Indonesia are well-known for their superior quality of sinking oud chips. Due to its location near the border, Kalimantan produces oud chips that combine harvests from both areas. The Hindi Oud Tincture is blended with pure Kalimantan Oud to create a very green overall oud composition. It seemed reasonable to skip the IFRA method and utilize the 100% Oakmoss absolute tincture that I had at the lab for quite some time; after I had started walking down this path had an intense resinous "green" damp forest Oud. I had no idea that this bold initiative would actually form this perfume's heart! Well, you do get the fruits, herbs, and woods, but the Oud & the Oakmoss... that is all about the "green" element! Due to its unique potent aroma, you shouldn't use this as your daily scent to go to the office or a club! In the midst of the day-to-day chaos of life, Kali is for the person who meditates and wants to reconnect with the delightful GREEN NATURE present around us.
