Inspiration: Envy by Gucci

Gucci devotees frequently regress in their memories to a time when Tom Ford made the decisions and their fragrances lasted more than a few hours. One such revered scent is envy. Sadly, it would be one of many that would never see the light of day again.

However, luckily, Envy is once again accessible to the public thanks to modern science and our expert chemists’ tireless efforts, with the release of Covet, DUA’s inspired expression! With Covet, we were aware that staying as true to the original formula as possible would let people appreciate the fragrance as a relic of earlier designers. Thankfully, we were able to replicate the masterpiece while retaining all its beauty and grandeur.

Ginger and sandalwood combine with smokey incense to create a combination that is both spicy and seductive. While cedar and leather form the masculine vibe that aficionados of the fragrance recall only too warmly, amber and tobacco maintain the sensual warmth. We hope that our rendition of this magnificent invention will delight both those who are fortunate enough to own a bottle of the original as well as others who are first timers to this magnificent scent!
