Inspiration: Fahrenheit (Original 1988 Formulation) by Dior.

Hussars were the term given to the Hungarian troops of the 15th and 16th centuries, and it was their leather boots that ultimately served as the inspiration for this iconic scent from 1988. Its opulent and cool leather note epitomized masculinity and established the leather perfume subgenre. We observed that leather experiences wear and tear through time in the form of reformulations, and more recent iterations have lost their tenacity and vitality. However, luckily, we were able to locate a bottle of the original formulation from more than 30 years ago, which served as the basis for our experimentations.

Our rendition of this timeless classic, Celsius, includes all that the original has lost over the years and more! This fragrance's opening is entwined with Sicilian mandarin orange, tangy bergamot, and fragrant hawthorne. Patchouli, Styrax, Birch, and Cade are added to the leather accord to heighten its ruggedness. We are convinced that one spray will inspire joyful reverie for those who have long been devotees of the old Dior Fahrenheit.
