#By Accident

Inspiration: Caban by YSL.

Call it a happy accident or a sign from above. Yves Saint Laurent's Caban, it turns out, had a lab date of September 2020, but the sample got through and formulation began in mid-January 2020. We realized this had to happen immediately when we sniffed the scent coming from the finished formulation!

We have been getting enormous number of requests to release our rendition of Yves Saint Laurent's masterwork over the past few weeks. Fortunately, this incident allowed us to fulfil the requests of our DUA fam and hence, release one of the most demanded fragrances, #BY ACCIDENT.

The base of olibanum and creamy sandalwood is topped with sweet, rich notes of praline and caramel, which does a magnificent job of adding that perfect touch of sweetness in this delicious aroma. The main character in this perfume is definitely tonka bean, which dominates the blend with its all-natural-smelling sweet and nutty fragrance. The scent feels mysterious and subtle, with a hint of smoke and pepper. What should have been "ON PURPOSE" was "BY ACCIDENT."
